If you use a Mac and Photoshop Elements and plan to upgrade to Yosemite (OS X 10.10) right away, just a reminder that in all recent versions of OS X, it has been critically important to delete all preferences before running PSE.
I just recently updated my Mac's OS X Yosemite to version 10.10.4 and since doing that Photoshop Elements 11 has slowed down so much it is hindering me from editing photos for my client. It took about 25 minutes to perform an action on a photo and took about 5 minutes to just save the high res photo as a JPEG. Is anyone else having this problem? I even downloaded PSE 11 on a different Mac computer that has the same version of OS X and I am still having the same problem.
It is beyond frustrating and the person from Adobe that I spoke with in the chat room pretty much said he can't help and to just look at the forums. Please someone help!
